How does your company measure and manage the results, outcomes, effects, or impact of your product or service?

We have formally defined the outcomes sought by our product or service and have developed a theory of change for them

We have directly and formally engaged stakeholders in understanding their desires and needs when developing, refining, and or delivering our products or services

    More Details

    Sample documents:

Checkbox 1: Employee handbook, annual report, company strategy documents, etc. that include desired outcomes for your product/service and your theory of change.

Checkbox 3: Notes from focus groups, surveys, etc. with stakeholders regarding product/service.

    Reminders

Outcomes are different from outputs. Outputs are the direct result of your business objective or program goal. An outcome is the difference made by the output. For example, if your company created a nature preserve and there was an increase in the native wildlife population at that site, the number of acres protected from development would be an output and the additional observed animals would be an outcome.
